Nevada: Oppose Senate Bill 347 Today!
Dear [Lawmaker],
As a resident of Nevada and supporter of the Second Amendment I urge you to vote "NO" in opposition to Senate Bill 347. SB 347 would authorize a law enforcement officer who places an individual in a mental health hold to immediately confiscate a firearm owned or possessed by the individual. Following the release of the individual, they would then be required to request a hearing with the district court to have their firearm returned. This is a clear violation of due process as an individual should not have their firearms seized without a criminal conviction or civil proceeding. Again, I urge you to OPPOSE this bill and vote "NO" on SB 347. Thank you for all that you do for the great state of Nevada.
