Florida: Schedule SB 920 for a Hearing!
Dear [Lawmaker],
As a resident of Florida and supporter of the Second Amendment, I respectfully urge you to ask the chairman of the Senate Criminal Justice Committee to schedule a hearing of SB 920. Senate Bill 920 restores the ability for young adults to acquire firearms by lowering the minimum age requirement from 21 to 18. The companion bill, HB 759, just passed the House. However, for this legislation to progress in the Senate, the Senate companion, SB 920, must first receive a policy hearing in the Senate Criminal Justice Committee. Again, I urge you to respectfully reach out to the chairman to request for a hearing on SB 920. Thank you for all that you do for the great state of Florida.
