Minnesota: Senate Finance and Tax Committees to Consider Extreme Gun Control Measures!
Dear [Lawmaker],
As a fellow Minnesotan, I urge you to oppose the anti-gun language included in the Senate Omnibus Tax Bill. Governor Walz's supplemental budget bill imposes a punitive tax on firearms and ammunition. This sort of punitive tax can only lead to financial burdens for Minnesotans who exercise their Constitutional Second Amendment rights. Again, I urge you to oppose the 10% handgun tax and 11% long gun tax included in SF 5052. Thank you for your consideration.
