North Dakota: Gun-Free Zone Bill Passes Senate With Amendments
Dear [Lawmaker],
As a fellow North Dakotan and your constituent, I urge you to CONCUR with the Senate amendments to HB 1588. The Senate amendments reduce penalties for violations from a criminal offense down to a $100 fine, gives the state board of higher education the ability to permit carry on campuses, and removes the obligation to report carrying a concealed firearm to law enforcement. Again, I urge you to CONCUR with these amendments. Thank you for all that you do for our state.
