Our kids will pay the price if we don’t fix it.
Most West Virginia families lose power at least once a year. Many lose it three, four, or more times. Our grid is 50 years old and it wasn’t built for today’s homes.
If we don’t modernize it now, we pass the problem and the cost to our kids and grandkids.
95% of West Virginia voters say it’s time to act. Your leaders need to hear from you.
Here’s what a recent poll of WV voters found:
- 95% say grid modernization should be a priority for policymakers
- 68% call it “very important”
- 65% are more likely to support a pro-grid legislator
But support without action doesn’t fix anything.
Your legislators and the Governor need to hear directly from constituents like you.
IF WE DON’T ACT NOW:
- Our kids inherit a grid problem that costs even more to fix
- Outages keep happening at the same rate or worse
- Repair costs grow as the infrastructure ages further
- West Virginia falls behind states that are investing in reliable power
65% of West Virginia voters say they’re more likely to support a state lawmaker who supports upgrading the grid. Your elected officials need to know that number!
