The Senate just voted overwhelmingly to reject Senator Bernie Sanders’ two anti-Israel resolutions to block vital arms sales to the Jewish state that would leave our democratic ally isolated and vulnerable as it continues to fight a multi-front war against Iran and its terrorist proxies and works to free the remaining hostages.

As your constituent and an AIPAC member, I thank you for voting NO on Senator Bernie Sanders’ dangerous resolutions to block critical arms sales to Israel.

Israel faces ongoing threats on seven fronts from Iran and its terrorist proxies. At the same time, the Iranian regime continues to fund terrorism around the region and advance its nuclear program.

These vital arms sales will help ensure the Jewish state has the resources it needs to defend itself against Iran and the regime’s terrorist proxies. 

These sales are financed in part by congressionally appropriated security assistance to Israel, and all of the weapons in these sales are made in the United States, supporting American jobs and helping our economy.

American support for our democratic ally is essential, and Congress must continue to stand strong with Israel. Any daylight between Israel and America only emboldens our shared enemies and makes it more difficult to secure the release of the remaining hostages, including five Americans, held in Gaza.
