Minnesota: Contact Governor Walz to OPPOSE His Gun Control Budget Supplemental!
Dear [Governor],
As a fellow Minnesotan and your constituent, I want to voice my opposition to your recent supplemental budget proposal. Many of your proposals actively reference common gun-control talking points, including an exorbitant new state tax on firearms and ammunition, prison bed funding for enforcement actions on banned firearm platforms if SF 3655 were to pass, and more. Attempting to price out law-abiding gun owners and funding prisons specifically to imprison those same gun owners do nothing to address real crime in our state. I encourage you to instead support policies that would hold criminals accountable for breaking laws already on the books instead of targeting those of us who follow the law. Thank you for all that you do for our state.
