On Feb. 17, the Legislature will hold a hearing on FOUR critical bills that are a high priority for anyone who wants to see some stability return to Oregon’s rental housing market.
We’re supporting HB 2305, which would prevent repeat violations of rental agreements.
We’re opposing HB 3521, which would penalize housing providers who are unable to execute lease agreements, even for reasons outside their control.
We’re opposing HB 2134, which would allow tenants to break leases early.
We’re opposing HB 2967, which would ban screening fees.
Will you join us? Send a quick email to the House Committee on Housing and Homelessness and let them know where you stand on these bills!
