Tell Congress: Stop the Big Pharma Money Grab

Dear [Lawmaker],

As a constituent, I ask you to oppose a year-end spending package in Washington that is chock full of giveaways to Democrats, liberal priorities and worst of all, a $50 billion windfall for Big Pharma, paid for by the American people. 
The last thing lawmakers should do is pass a last-minute giveaway to Democrats and Big Pharma that would increase costs for consumers, patients, seniors and taxpayers, AND hand drug companies a massive bailout before President Trump and RFK Jr. can take office and hold them accountable.
Congress must reject new government mandates in our health care system that would increase costs for seniors and taxpayers — and increase the power and profits of Big Pharma.
The last thing we need is increased government intervention into our private market, allowing the government to pick and choose the winners of our health care system. 
I strongly urge you to reject this disaster of a spending package that would result in increased health care costs for your constituents, higher profits for Big Pharma, and more government intrusion in health care.
Instead, I encourage you to focus on increasing competition and allowing the free market to function to lower drug prices, by cracking down on Big Pharma’s out-of-control abuse of the patent system.
