A city employee in Charlotte, North Carolina was captured on hidden-camera bragging about continuing DEI policies in defiance of the federal executive order.
Ja’kari Clayton told an investigative journalist that they hold both “DEI 101” and “Implicit Bias” trainings. In fact, some of their DEI trainings are mandatory for city employees.
He went on to admit that Charlotte’s department of “Water, Housing, and Neighborhood Services” has DEI positions and adds that there are a lot of equity-related positions that have deceptive titles.
