Oppose HB 1891 – Gun Registration Mandate
Dear [Lawmaker],
As your constituent and a supporter of our constitutional rights, I urge you to OPPOSE HB 1891. This legislation is being promoted as a modernization measure, but it would, in fact, mandate electronic submission of all firearm-related paperwork, strengthening state firearm registries and databases. HB 1891 would also impose costly new burdens on small federally licensed firearm dealers, putting many of these local businesses at risk. Last session, HB 1891 failed by a single vote, demonstrating how controversial and harmful this proposal is. I respectfully ask you to vote NO on HB 1891 to protect the rights of law-abiding Pennsylvanians. Thank you for your service to our Commonwealth.
