Virginia: Fairfax City Council Considering Expanding Gun Control Ordinance
Dear [Lawmaker],
As a fellow Virginian and resident of Fairfax City, I urge you to OPPOSE increasing the so-called "gun-free zones" within the city. Gun-free zones create arbitrary boundaries where law-abiding citizens are disarmed, while zero measures are taken to prevent criminals from entering. Additionally, recent data shows that over 95% of mass casualty events occur in "gun-free zones," highlighting the fact that such zones empower criminals to target "soft targets" where law-abiding citizens are disarmed. Again, I urge you to OPPOSE the expansion of "gun-free zones." Thank you for all that you do for the city of Fairfax.
