Maryland: Semi-Auto Ban Eligible for House Floor Vote
Dear [Lawmaker],
As a fellow Marylander, I encourage you to OPPOSE SB 334. SB 334 would ban so-called “machine gun convertible pistols,” using vague and overbroad language that targets many common semi-automatic handguns, including Gen 5 and older Glock pistols, simply because criminals might illegally modify them with conversion devices. These devices are already illegal, and SB 334 punishes lawful gun owners for criminal misuse. Please do not penalize law abiding Marylanders for the actions of criminals.
