Delaware: Firearms Registry and FFL Killer Bill Introduced!
Dear [Lawmaker],
Please Oppose SB 300 in the Executive Committee. Senate Bill 300 will require FFL’s to create electronic databases tracking every firearm’s make, model, serial number, acquisition and disposition dates, and the identity of every buyer. Gun registries have done nothing to bring down crime in the states where they have been implemented. Additionally, the bill creates new mandates for dealers including high end surveillance cameras and video storage, burdensome storage rules, frequent state police inspections and tiered licensing fees based on how many guns a dealer sells. This legislation duplicates federal law and will do nothing to improve public safety. Again, I urge you to please oppose SB 300. Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
______
