I write to you today to urge you, and other Members of Congress, to continue to support Medicare Advantage, a vital part of Medicare that 33 million seniors and people with disabilities rely on.

Medicare Advantage provides access to innovative, value-based care that protects the health and financial security of seniors like me. It delivers average consumer savings of more than $2,500 per year on out-of-pocket costs and premiums compared to Fee-For-Service (FFS) Medicare even after providing access to added benefits and comprehensive care that result in better health outcomes, helping us age with dignity and lead healthier lives.

Medicare Advantage also plays a critical role in advancing health equity, providing seniors from underserved communities the high-quality care they deserve at a cost they can afford. 27% of Medicare Advantage beneficiaries are Black, Latino, or Asian  compared to 17% of FFS Medicare beneficiaries, and 52% of those who choose Medicare Advantage live on annual incomes below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL).

Medicare Advantage is a lifeline for seniors with 51% of the entire Medicare population making it their choice for high-quality, comprehensive care at an affordable price. I am counting on you to be a champion for Medicare Advantage and for all who rely on it.
