I am writing to urge you and other members of Congress to protect and strengthen the Medicare Advantage program, which provides affordable, high-quality health care for more than 34 million American seniors and people with disabilities.

After two years of cuts to Medicare Advantage, seniors are hurting. We’ve faced plan closures, reduced benefits, and higher costs across the board. With medical costs continuing to increase, these cuts have forced roughly 2 million beneficiaries to find new plans for 2025, causing unnecessary disruption and anxiety. Seniors need certainty and stability. We shouldn’t have to worry about our health coverage.

I don’t understand why politicians wouldn’t support Medicare Advantage. Unlike Fee-For-Service Medicare, Medicare Advantage puts seniors in charge of their health care and lets us choose the plan that works best for us. And with extra benefits at no additional cost, Medicare Advantage makes it easy to stay healthy and out of the hospital. It’s no wonder Medicare Advantage has become the most popular Medicare choice: It is truly a lifeline for seniors like me.

We’ve worked hard and earned this health coverage, and we are counting on you to protect it.

President Trump has promised that he will protect Medicare, and we hope this will be a priority for Congress as well. Please stand up for seniors and protect our Medicare Advantage.
