As your constituent and an AIPAC member, I urge you to oppose the dangerous and misguided resolution supporting the unilateral and unconditional recognition of a Palestinian state. 

This effort, just weeks before the two-year anniversary of Hamas’ October 7 massacre, horrifically rewards the terror group for its genocidal attack. Hamas leaders have celebrated efforts to unilaterally recognize a Palestinian state, describing them as "the fruits of October 7."

Recognizing a Palestinian state now will make peace and reconciliation even more elusive by emboldening Hamas, and those who do so are now responsible for the repercussions of this irresponsible and malicious action.

The path to a permanent peace is through direct, bilateral talks between Israel and Palestinians who reject Hamas’ eliminationist ideology. The primary impediment to peace and an end to the humanitarian tragedy is the refusal of Hamas to lay down its arms and release the hostages. Everyone who seeks an end to the conflict should support Israel’s just and moral battle against the Iranian terrorist proxies and demand that Hamas release the hostages.

I strongly urge you to reject the dangerous effort to recognize a Palestinian state. The United States should stand with our democratic ally and reject performative posturing, not give sanction to Hamas’ terrorism.

Hamas is prolonging the suffering of Israelis and Palestinians. The war could end today if Hamas releases the hostages, lays down its arms and relinquishes power.

As the Jewish state surges aid into the Gaza Strip and fights to defend its people and free the hostages, it is important to continue to stand with our ally Israel.

I urge you to OPPOSE efforts to curtail support for Israel, such as The Block the Bombs Act (H.R. 3565).

I urge you to stand with Israel and increase the pressure on Hamas to release all the hostages and surrender.
