Dear [FCC],

This order would impose economic harm for the sole purpose of avoiding admitting that Democrats were embarrassingly wrong about the repeal of the Obama/Wheeler Title II order.
In 2017 Democrats in the media and elected office created a frenzy around the bizarre conspiracy theory that repealing two-year-old regulations and returning to the light touch approach of the preceding two decades would result in mass death  (NBC News reported: "Eliza Byard, executive director of LGBTQ youth advocacy group GLSEN, said the net neutrality repeal could be 'literally a matter of life and death' for LGBTQ youth.") the destruction of "the Internet as we know it," and tweets loading one…. word…. at…. a…. time.
None of that happened.  What did happen was that private investment jumped back up to its pre-regulation trendline, speeds more than tripled, and prices were flat or even down –as everything else got more expensive.
The factual basis for the order is laughably false, making the order not only arbitrary and capricious but worse – an exercise of economic power solely to defend a false and failed political messaging campaign. The proposed rule should therefore be withdrawn.
