Last week, the Senate rejected dangerous anti-Israel resolutions aimed at blocking critical arms sales to Israel as it continues to face serious threats on multiple fronts. Freezing arms to Israel would only embolden Israel’s enemies, encouraging greater violence not less. Please take a moment to thank your Senator for standing with Israel and voting to reject these dangerous resolutions.

As a constituent deeply concerned with the national security of the U.S. and Israel, I want to thank you for voting against the ill-advised resolutions (S.J.Res. 34 and 41) to block arms sales to Israel as it continues to face threats on multiple fronts from Iran and a variety of non-state terror groups. 
We appreciate your continued support for Israel and your refusal to give in to outside pressure. While we recognize that many Americans, including many members of the Jewish community, are concerned about the humanitarian situation in Gaza, cutting off military aid to Israel is not the solution. The right path forward is to ensure humanitarian assistance reaches civilians through trusted channels, without strengthening Hamas, which has a long history of diverting aid to fund terror. Your steadfast leadership helps uphold both our humanitarian values and our commitment to Israel’s security. 
You helped defeat a dangerous effort that would have undercut Israel’s ability to defend itself and emboldened those working to destabilize the region, undermining American interests. 
We appreciate your leadership and your continued commitment to a strong U.S.-Israel relationship.

Thank you for voting against the ill-advised resolutions (S.J.Res. 34 and 41) to block arms sales to Israel. Suspending arms deliveries to Israel, even as a symbolic move, would embolden Hamas and other bad actors in the region, increasing the likelihood of extended conflict and more suffering by Israelis and Palestinians alike.   

We recognize that many Americans are deeply concerned about the humanitarian situation in Gaza, a concern that many members of my community share, but cutting off military support to Israel is not the way to respond. Rather, the United States should continue to work with Israel and international organizations to increase the availability of food and other aid to those in need in ways that do not empower Hamas which has consistently stolen aid and used it to finance its operations.     

We’re grateful for your principled leadership and for keeping the U.S.-Israel relationship strong while continuing to support efforts to alleviate the human suffering caused by the war Hamas launched and its refusal to release the hostages it still holds.

Thank you for your vote against S.J.Res. 34, one of two resolutions aimed at blocking critical arms sales to Israel at a time when Israel faces multiple threats from Iran and several non-state actors across the region.  Your vote against the resolution reaffirmed the importance of the U.S.-Israel relationship at this moment.  

At the same time, I was extremely disappointed by your decision to support S.J.Res. 41.  We recognize that your vote likely reflected concern over the ongoing humanitarian situation in Gaza, a concern that many members of my community share, but these resolutions embolden Hamas, making a peaceful settlement even more difficult, and would not address the humanitarian situation.    

Rather, the United States should continue to work with Israel and international organizations to increase the delivery of food and other aid to those in need in ways that do not empower Hamas, which has consistently stolen aid and used it to finance its terrorist operations. Consistent with these goals, Israel has taken significant steps in the past few weeks to facilitate the delivery of greater amounts of aid to Gazans in need.  

I’m grateful for your principled leadership and for keeping the U.S.-Israel relationship strong while continuing to support efforts to alleviate the human suffering caused by the war Hamas launched and its refusal to release the hostages it still holds.
