Oppose Anti-Gun Legislation SB 224, SB 225, SB 226, SB 331 & SB 332
Dear [Lawmaker],
As a resident of Michigan and your constituent, I urge you to OPPOSE SB 224, SB 225, SB 226, SB 331, and SB 332. These bills threaten the rights of law-abiding citizens without meaningfully addressing public safety. SB 224 would ban bump stocks and similar devices, even after the U.S. Supreme Court struck down the federal bump stock ban. SB 225 and SB 226 expand so-called “gun-free zones” in the State Capitol and legislative office buildings, unfairly denying citizens the right to carry while exempting lawmakers. SB 331 and SB 332 target law-abiding hobbyists by criminalizing home-built firearms and the materials used to make them. Again, I urge you to OPPOSE SB 224, SB 225, SB 226, SB 331, and SB 332 in committee and on the floor. Thank you for all that you do for our great state.
